Maithrayini Sakha, is a rare branch in Vedic literature. In early 2000, only three Vedic pundits existed in India who knew the Maithrayini Veda. HH Sri Swamiji requested Parameshwara Dikshitulu pundit to teach and sent 4 students to Chidambaram. They learnt the scripture and now in turn coached more students in that branch who won accolades and a gold medal in Vedic exams conducted by TTD. As an initiative to safeguard the Vedic treasure, took the initiative and printed Vedas in book form taking care in preserving the innotations of the manthras.

10th class results
For the past 3 years students are appearing for 10th grade board exams. 2012 – 13 students have appeared and passed the exam with 100% distinction,with the highest of 9.3 aggregate. 2013 – 14 students have passed with highest of 9.0 aggregate.
Over 300 countries joined the Green kumbh Yatra Project. The aim of Green Kumbh is to establish a powerful focal point around which people can save environment and build a clean, healthy, diverse world. This Yatra, includes traversing on foot and nonmotorized vehicles as much as possible, across several countries.
Jiva Gurukulam Students gave the message of Bio diversity with a dance performance and was appreciated by delegates.
